Division Information

T-Ball/Bubba Baseball

T-ball is for children from 4-6. Games will be played at Fletcher Park. The season will start the first week of May and go until end of June. T-Ball plays Monday to Thursday and the days each team play may vary each week. Start times will be between 6:00 and 6:30. We try to get two games in every week with a half hour practice before each game.

American

American is Ages 7-8. Games will be played at the following Ralph McCall School, Plainsman, OLQOP School, Kings Heights and Fletcher Park. The season will start the first week of May and go until end of June. American plays Monday to Thursday every week and the days each team play may vary each week. We will endeavour to play two games and one practice every week, in addition to a mid season and year end tournament.

Minor house

This age group is from 9-10, and first year 11 year olds. Games will be played at Chinook Winds, and Fletcher Park. Games will me held Monday-Friday, from the first week of May until the end of June. We will endeavour to play two games and one practice every week, in addition to a mid season and year end tournament. 12 year-old players will be permitted with a waiver is signed stating they can not pitch, and are not eligible for All-Stars.

Major house

This age group is from 11-12, and advanced 10 year olds. Games will be played at Fletcher Park. Games will me held Monday-Friday, from the first week of May until the end of June. We will endeavour to play two games and one practice every week, in addition to a mid season and year end tournament. 10 year-old players will be permitted with a waiver is signed stating they are not eligible minor for All-Stars.

Junior

These are interlock teams that will play half their games in North Calgary with home games being played at Chinook Winds. Games should be played Monday to Thursday with potential of some games on weekends depending on number of teams in league. Practices are scheduled by coaches. Age of players 13-14.

Senior

This team will interlock with Calgary with half of their games being played in North Calgary. Home games will be played at Chinook Winds. This age group is 15-16.

Calgary North Baseball League

Ages 17 and above no longer fall within the scope of Little League Baseball. As such we have worked with the district to help establish Calgary North Baseball League. CNBL is very excited for the upcoming 2018 season. We are expecting a significant increase in players and teams from the south end of and all areas surrounding Calgary. The word is slowly getting out that CNBL is a great option for players to continue playing after Little League. Online registration is open! Go to Calgary North Baseball League

Special Team Information

Tournament teams


Who can participate?
Anyone who wishes to play more competitive baseball in the Minor (9-10) and Major (11-12) Divisions can sign up to be selected for a Tournament Team. Selections will be made based on evaluations.

When are evaluations?
Minors will not have a separate evaluation timeslot for the Tournament Team. Selection will be made based on the scheduled regular season evaluation scores Majors will evaluate on Saturday, April 7 at 7:30-9:00 p.m. at Genesis Place for the Tournament Team.

How does it work?
These players will play for their regular season team and then play on the weekends with their tournament team. Weekend play will include a practice and two games each weekend, except May Long.

How long is the Tournament Team Season?
Teams will play from April 28 to June 3. Practice will be held prior to April 28, weather permitting.

Cost?
The cost to play on the Tournament Team is $75.

How do I sign up?
Please announce your intention to participate in Minor or Major Tournament Team when you present at check-in for your regular season evaluations.

All-Star Teams Information


Who can participate?
Players in the Minor (age 9-10) and Major (age 11-12) and Junior (13-14) are eligible to be selected based on evaluation. There will be levels in each age category (A, AA, and AAA). Players must be able to attend EVERY practice and game. If this is not possible, All-Stars may not be for you.

When are evaluations?
Evaluation will be held around June 1.

How long is the All-Stars Season?
Practices will start in June. Games start the first weekend after our regular season and go until the long weekend in August.

Where do we play?
All-Stars is a travel league and may include travel to the following locations: Calgary, Lethbridge, Edmonton, Medicine Hat, and Regina. At least one tournament from each level should be hosted in Airdrie.

How often do we play?
Weekend play will be set up as a 4-game tournament held at one location. All-star games will begin on June 29 and continue each weekend until the August long weekend. Each level should have, one tournament in Calgary, one in Airdrie, and one weekend off. Dates and locations to be confirmed prior to team selection.

Cost?
The cost is $50.
