All-Stars Summer Ball

Airdrie Little League invites all eligible players to try out for one of our 2025 Summer All-Star teams!

Our All-Star Tournament Teams will feature up to 13 dedicated players per team, competing at a high level and representing Airdrie with pride. This is a fantastic opportunity for players who love the game and are ready for a more competitive and rewarding experience.

Key Dates & Eligibility

  • Registration Open: May 5 – May 21, 2025

  • Tryouts: May 23 – 25, 2025

  • All-Star Program Runs: June 6 – August 4, 2025

  • Championship Weekend: August 1–4, 2025

  • Player Commitment: Availability for at least 5 of 6 tournament weekends is required to be considered.

Team Composition – 2025 Goals

We aim to field the following teams, based on registration and evaluation results:

  • Senior/Junior (League Age 14 to 16): 1 team

  • Intermediate (League Age 13): 1 team

  • Majors (League Age 11/12): Up to 3 teams (AAA, AA, A)

  • Minors (League Age 9/10): Up to 3 teams (AAA, AA, A)

Final teams will be assigned based on player evaluations and team formation needs. Teams will be designated as AAA (most competitive), AA, or A.

While full availability from June 6 to August 4 is ideal, minor exceptions may be considered. Most games take place on weekends in July and August, with practices on weekdays.

All-Star Registration Fees – 2025

Minors (9/10) $450
Majors A & AA (11/12) $450
Majors AAA (11/12) $500*
Teenage (Intermediate, Junior, Senior) $450

*Note: Players selected to Majors AAA will be invoiced separately for the additional $50 once rosters are finalized

Fees include:

  • Tournament entry fees
  • Little League Alberta fees
  • Insurance
  • Equipment, baseballs, diamond supplies and umpires
  • All-Star Apparel Package (Shirt, Hoodie, Custom Jersey and Hat)Note: Apparel package is subject to change based on availability and final budget

Tournament Schedule & Commitment

Tentative tournament weekends:

  • June 28–29
  • July 5–6
  • July 12–13
  • July 19–20
  • July 26–27
  • Championship Weekend: August 1–4

Tournaments may be hosted in Airdrie, Calgary, Cochrane, Edmonton, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Brooks, Moose Jaw,  Regina, or Saskatoon. Practices begin immediately following team announcements and typically include:

  • 1–2 practices/week in June

  • 2–3 practices/week in July, depending on tournament play

  • Weeknight exhibition games with other nearby Little Leagues

Tryouts & Team Selection

  • Tryout Dates: May 23–25, 2025

  • Tryout Locations and Times: To be confirmed following registration

  • A mandatory parent meeting will be held during the final 15 minutes of each tryout session

Players must have played at least 8 regular season games to be eligible for tournament play.

Team selections will be made based on player performance during tryouts, availability, and roster needs — and are subject to approval by the All-Star Executive Committee.

We know the All-Star program is a big commitment, but it offers an unforgettable summer of baseball, growth, and the chance to proudly represent Airdrie Little League across Alberta and beyond.
